I am curious if it is possible to build a relay that will close when power is applied and will then send a wireless signal to a set of contacts to control a wall outlet on the other side of a room.
I am installing LED lights under the cabinets in my kitchen and I want to control them from a single wall switch. I can fish a wire from the switch to one outlet on one side of the room but the other side of the room is not accessible. When I close the switch to turn on the lights on one side I would like for the lights on the other side of the room to come on. I will have a line voltage (120 V) outlet at both locations and I will also have a 12 volt power supply at both locations. I can't get any wires from one side of the room to another. Any ideas?
