Wireless RS485 communication

Hey guys,

I want to do an automatic temperature monitoring using PT100 and Arduino. The sensor is connected to a temperature control Autonics TZN4L and I am planning to use its RS485 output to get the temperature data. The thing is, I want to be able to put the sensor and Arduino someplace then get the data to my PC via wireless transmission. Do you guys have any suggestion on how I can do it? This is my first time using Arduino so I'm still trying to get my head around it. Any suggestion is appreciated.

An RS485 to TTL converter, then a serial-input RF module? Transceiver modules like the APC220 are easy to use, transparent and take serial TTL input. APC220 433MHz RF Transceiver datasheet

RS485 to 5V TTL Converter There are no doubt other, cheaper RS485 to TTL converters, probably even on eBay, that was just the first I came across, for info only.
