Wireless serial communication settings

hi folks,

I want to wirelessly control my Arduino over serial. I am using a wireless serial modem (which has TTL serial on one side)
The transmitter is hooked up to a pc sending data over serial. The receiver is connected to the Arduino via RX, TX and GND.

But there seems to be a communication error.
However there is a configuration utility for the pc where you can configure the wireless modem.
attached are two screenshots.

do you guys know what settings are needed to talk to the Arduino?

thank you

Without knowing WHAT you are configuring? Not a snowball's chance...

oh sorry its a teledesign ts4000, configured as in the screenshots. i want to turn on/off an led by sending 'on' and 'off' over serial.

The receiver is connected to the Arduino via RX, TX and GND.

No power, huh?

That "link" doesn't seem to work. Sorry I can't help you more.

Did you get your setup working using wires before moving to wireless?

yes it perfectly works wired.

this is the manual for the modem. http://www.teledesignsystems.com/downloads/ts4000/TS4000%20Manual%20V640.pdf

the communication works fine at the rs232, but once its on ttl its not anymore. sorry for that noob question, but im quite new to serial communication. thank you
