@tomasdelaveau sent me a PM which suggested that he is using an nRF24L01 rather than an nRF24L01+
I have been reading this Thread on the assumption that the missing + was a typo (or time saving).
I have never had an nRF24L01 module and I have no idea whether the TMRh20 library will work with them. That would require careful study of the two Nordic datasheets and the source code in the library - which I do not propose to do.
As they are not expensive I suspect it would be much simpler just to get some nRF24L01+ modules.
