Hi Everyone. The system is up and working but I'm curious about some random modifications I made in order for it to work.
I could only use the MAX6675 after changing the pin for the CLK of this module, ie. to a different pin than the CLK of the nRF24L01. Why are they supposed to be the same if it works better by using different pins?
I was getting false temperature readings on the receiver. By then I had the nRF24L01, the MAX6675 and the Relay all connected to the same line of power on the breadboard which was fed by the 3.3V pin of the Arduino board. I fixed this by connecting the Relay to the Vin, the MAX6675 to the 5V and the nRF24L01 to the 3.3V. Was this problem caused by an insufficient current? As far as my understanding goes the voltage shouldn't change by connecting more devices to the same power source.
Thanks!
Tomas
