Wireless transmission of heart signals to PC

Hi Everyone,

I am still new in using arduino and I would like to ask for some advice because currently i am not sure how to perform the following:

When the heart sound data is received by the arduino board, I would like to transfer it to a PC for data analysis. From my understanding the XBee modules must be the same type. I would think that I would another module which I need to connect to the PC, could someone advice which type of wireless module I should use?

I read that using the HC-05 module is much easier so I would be grateful if someone can explain to me regarding this. Thank you.
