wireshark question

This is the my first login and I want to say thanks
I have a question regarding wireshark in wireless networks. I try to capture ping ICMP packets by wireshark in monitor mode in Ubuntu. but after capturing I see them as data frames and not ICMP packets. could u plz tell me why I can't see them as ICMP packets?

Mina, my guess is that you don't have the appropriate wireshark packet decoders installed, but posting this in the Arduino FAQ forum is not likely to give you the quick answer you are probably hoping for. I'd look around for wireshark fora.
