Wiring SD card up for storage

Ok so I'm working on a project using a 12 keypad, and I want to be able to hold one of the keys down to activate a mic to record voice audio and save it to a SD card. Could I just solder some wires to the card and hook it up the arduino? And I know this one is in the wrong topic, but what would I have to do code wise to do this?

Could I just solder some wires to the card and hook it up the arduino?
