Wirless communication with software

Hey, I know I've asked before but had no help at all unfortunately and I've had no luck at all with it.

I'm trying to get wireless communication between my yun and max/msp.
In the past I've been using firmata, which works fine over USB, but I'm not sure where to start with making it wireless.

I have no experience with linux or python apart from what I've read over the last few weeks, I tend to do most things in max. I can't see anyone else's solution yet and I'm just really stuck.

Can this even be done?
Am I missing something really straightforward?

If anyone has a solution, or can help or even point me in the right direction that would be great!

Thanks!

Hey, thanks for your response! I've read what I can on it, but I'm not sure how I would get the pins to send out of the Yun. Think that's my biggest problem at the moment, but to be honest I'm just not sure.
Thank you!

Okay, think I might be beginning to get somewhere with understanding a python script and use UDP, but need to get an sd card before I can continue..

I'll report back if I get any luck!
Thanks
