Wishield library and Xively - can they work together ?

Greetings,

I have one of this old wifi CopperHead v.2 shield and I would like to use it on Xively (formally pachube) is it possible ?
Do you guys have an example ?

I am running the WiServer example successfully over my wireless network, so communication is proper order.
Xively example for Arduino works with the Ethernet library. Will it work wit the wishield one ?
