I was looking around to see if I could pay someone to build me a machine that would shock me every time I took damage inside the video game Monster Hunter world. I'm not in the place to pay someone at the moment but I'd like to get some info before I waste my money. I'd like the machine to shock me when I take damage in the game and the shock to be a certain power depending on the damage I take. I'd also like it to be able to plug into my computer through USB and either be very easy to use or have someone that I can message for troubleshooting. Thank you for any info you can give me
Where would you like to be shocked?
Paul
I was thinking my arm so it doesn't get in the way of me pressing buttons too much

Well, you need a complete circuit, so can you use two stick-on conductive pads on your arm?
Paul
I want to say that now I've seen everything, but I'm afraid to...

I can try and fit two pads on my arm. If I can't would there be another part of my body like my biceps or something that would work?
A true Tazer would use needle points, you could try that. How much voltage does it take for you to be shocked? How much before you yell?
Paul
You can easily make this yourself using ONE OF THESE!
Paul
We have one of these. I've been shocked by it and I can promise you that you'll notice!
That's not an easy task due you would need to get access to the game code or if the game have some API that would let you get access to the game data that would tell you the damage and damage level as you mentioned, so after that you could start to think how to build the circuit / USB interface ....
In particular I don't know anything about that game (Monster Hunter world), but I know some games they have some API's for mods that could be used with that purpose !
Remember, it's not an easy task, and would not be cheap for someone to design this due the person would need not only experience with hardware like arduino, but also have the experience with modding games by consuming it's API!
