Hi All
I have given up on my wireless shield for my Arduino mega and am looking for a better shield that actually works. Can anyone recommend a shield they have used and works?
Long story short _ I bought a shield already which does not respond to anything written on that companies website....or others.
Any recommendations?
Thanks
Tim

Probably a bit too short...
You might be a bit more forthcoming about the shield already in hand. If it is made to be used with Arduino, it is quite possible that your problem is user incompetence, and getting another shield is not likely to fix this.

shield for Megas are quite rare. most shields are for Unos. they fit on Megas, but Megas have different pin assignments so Serial ports, interrupts, I2C & SPI end up in the wrong place.
Yes, I believe now there may be a difference in the UNO and MEGA boards causing the problem. The shield I bought was advertised as working on both. That's why I was asking for a shield that worked with the MEGA board.
Here are some issues
1, The shield is transmitting at 74880 not 115200 when reset.
2. All communications attempts are taking place the the same pin (RX on the MEGA) regardless if it is coming from the MEGA or from the shield.
If it was specifically advertised as good for both Uno and Mega, they might actually mean it. I note with faint interest that you steadfastly refuse to tell us what board you have.
