i am new at arduino and have this question:when writing a library, how do you define the use of any pins you want to use
example: I have a motor library and i want to use pind10 to drive the motor. or pind2 and so on, how do you do this in the library you write, so you can use any pin you want.
wish i could explain it better, at my age its the best i can do for now.....and thanks to all who helped before.Crossroads thanks for the heads up on the 1284 chip bootload hex file.
I'm a hobbiest programmer who, a couple weeks ago, could hardly deal with classes at all. Then I found the tutorial on classes at cplusplus.com. It changed my world.
Pay attention to the part about constructors. The tutorial on the arduino site about writing your own libraries will also be helpful. It does show an example of what you want.
