That will be your browser automatically trying to obtain a favicon (tab/window/shortcut icon) to represent your site. If you want to prevent that, you could turn it off in your browser - you may also be able to inhibit it by including a suitable <link rel="shortcut icon" element in your page, but that's not something I've played with.
