WS2801 wireless control

I have Arduino uno, which controls 100 RGB leds WS2801. I want to change data transmisison to wireless, using SPI transmiter and receiver in this way: Arduino-> SPI transmiter -> SPI receiver ->Led Strip. Is it possible, or I have to connect second Arduino after SPI transmiter?
I want to make a transmission bridge just like a wire.

Is it possible,

No, the bandwidth on the transmitter will not be wide enough to transmit the raw signal.

or I have to connect second Arduino after SPI transmiter?

No not even that.

You have to transmit the data to the second Arduino and then send out the data to the lights.
The update rate will depend on the transmitter's bandwidth and how big a frame actually is.

So, maybe in this way:

PC -> USB to serial converter -> Arduino -> Transmiter -> Receiver -> Arduino -> LEDs

If this is possible, what kind of transmiter and receiver i have to buy. I want to make, that the second Arduino will hase serial data from PC.

I want to make, that the second Arduino will hase serial data from PC.

What does that mean?

USB to serial converter is built into the arduino.

Grumpy_Mike:
What does that mean?

It's mean that data from PC must go to second arduino's serial input.
I have arduino uno, and arduino pro mini without usb.
