Hello everyone,
I'm trying to connecty a WT32 board to a M221 Schneider PLC through modbus TCP and read the value of the first holding register, the board and the PLC will be connected via LAN RJ45 copper cable both should have a fixed IP address. but i have no idea how to code the WT32 what libraies and functions to use.
If anybody can help and give a code example i would be grateful

Out of Your post I doubt any forum helper has much idea. The PLC manual would be needed
I also very sceptic that anyone can help you to find a fit solution for you. If you don't know how Modbus works and how the ethernet of the ESP32 Board must be programmed, how would you solve this project?
You have to link an modbus phy and programmed the wt32 board to support hem. after bot interfaces works, you need to develop a code to join both interfaces. I guess that you had assumed, a library you maye find here, will solve hat problem. Well, does'nt.
But you can buy a commercial "Modbus to Ethernet" device. "Wiesemann und Theis" i one company i know.
In addition, many comanies sells simple Gateways.
