I am a newbie to Auduino. I just bought a Parallax X-band motion detector and I want to make it into a "boss detector". I want to have the sensor against a wall and transmit via wifi, to a mother station where it will light up an LED for a second then turn off. How would I code this?

I have been tinkering with basic codes like the lcd and PIR sensors. I want to know how to combine codes from one project to another and make them jive together. Hooking them up to a breadboard is easy for me, but I have no C++ or any computer language training, and the coding is a bit daunting to figure out.
So, to reiterate, Parallax X-band sensor to wifi that will transmit to a "mother" arduino to turn on an LED.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.
