X Y table movement for milling machine

Hi
I have found this code for controlling the movement of a milling table in X and Y axis which users dc motors. I want to use this code but control the table movement with stepper motors.
I have tried to use the acclerstepper library to do this but don’t have the coding knowledge to do so.

How is this table controlled? Do you have a manual input or is it CNC?

Table is controlled by manual inputs only, no cnc.
Three modes of table movement.
Joystick
Auto feed
Jog
