Quick question - can an xbee and adxl 335 accelerometer run from 5v?
The data sheet for the 335 says max 3.6 but I know that the Sparkfun breakout is meant to draw power for an analog pin, which means 5v.
As for the xbee's, well I've always seen breakouts with 3.3v regulators, but I have heard people say they have run their xbee's at 5v no problem.
I'd pop a resistor in to drop the voltage, but I'm not sure if that would cause problems since the current draw might not remain constant.
