Xbee commands

hi,

i am connecting the Xbee to arduino, with 1 Coor and 2 routers.

If my C fails, is there a way to change one of the 2 routers to C?
i looked through all the xbee commands and found there is no such direct function to it.

The first question that comes to mind is how would one of the routers know that the coordinator failed?

How would it know when to switch back to being a router?

X-CTU loads different firmware on the XBee for router mode vs coordinator mode. No, the Arduino can not do that.
