XBee configuration--CH and MY parameter

The default MY parameter of my XBees is 0XFFFE,and the CH parameter is 0. And they can not be modified. If it is why my XBees can not communicate with each other?

Which xbees do you have? Series 1 or 2/2.5? What firmware version and function set have you selected?

Thanks for your reply.My XBee is series2,it is XB24-B,and firmware version is 2241.

The function set is ZIGBEE ROUTER AT.Would you tell me how to change it to coordinator. Thank you very much.

I played around with the Series 2 radios for a while. Never could get two radios to talk to each other. I could get one to talk and the other to listen, but, since I needed two way communication, I went back to the Series 1 radios.

So, no I can't tell you how to make the Series 2 radios talk to each other.
