Xbee Direct

sir, here is a project to control a servo wirelessly.
On sending side a Arduino, Xbee and a potentiometer is
there.

On receiving side a Arduino, Xbee and a servo motor attached to it.
servo follows the rotation of the pot.

Sir, i have seen some project on the internet, controlling a led brightness
remotly through I/O Line passing ,sending potentiometer value directly through
xbee without using Arduino.

Sir, what I want that keeping the receiving side as it is, and
remove Arduino from the sending side,want to send pot value directly to Receiver
without using Arduino.

Sir,is it possible and what changes have to be made on the xbees and on the receiving side Arduino
code?
I am using xbee S1 radios.

Please throw some light on this.

Thanks

Code attached.

SENDER

int potpin = 0;

void setup()
{
  Serial.begin(9600);
}

void loop()
{
  int val = map(analogRead(potpin), 0, 1023, 0, 179);
  Serial.Write(val);
  delay(50);
}

RECEIVER

//Include Servo Library
#include <Servo.h>

//Define Pins
int servoPin = 9;

//Create Servo Object
Servo servo;

void setup()
{
 //Start Serial
 Serial.begin(9600);

  //Attaches the Servo to our object
  servo.attach(servoPin);

}
