After looking at the specs of the new XBee Pro XSC 900 MHz I decided to get a couple. I'd like to see how well they perform. Should be in next week so I'll let you know if I experience the same issue.
I've been really busy of late and haven't gotten to do much more work on this. I'll be interested to hear how you make out. Their specs are definitely appealing for a long-range RF connection, which is naturally what I need them for.
