I want to make wireless communication between Arduino mega 2560 board and xbee pro s2c modules. Modules I have only 2 problems.
- The uart outputs of the explorer modules used for uart and usb communication with xbee's correspond to the sma end of my Xbee. God, when I put the antenna on the explorer, the uart pins get bent. Nobody will use it. Anyway, will it damage the board if I reverse solder these uart pins?
2) Many examples on the internet now with Arduino uno. They talked about the FTDI issue, so everybody was using uno. Anyone program Xbee now using hardware serial pins on mega? Is it possible to output Uart to Mega with Explorer uart outputs? I cannot try such things out of the blue because I have used an antenna before.
