I am using Xbee radios with 802.15.4 firmware and I am wondering if it is possible to have the coordinator sleep to extend battery life. At the same time I am wondering if my concept is backwards...
On a button press, I want a handheld unit to activate relays on remote stations (4 to 6 stations) that would be on house power. My current set-up is that the coordinator is the battery operated handheld and the end devices are plugged-in remote stations. I know end devices can sleep, not sure the coordinator can.
Thanks in advance for the help.
