XBee s3

Hi all
I'm looking to do a project to control/monitor irrigation equipment and need some advice on selecting the best hardware for it. Have been involved in a large job where XBee Pro s3B's were used with a PLC in a mesh type setup with around 60 sites all reporting back to a PC.
What I would like to do is on a smaller scale and I don't have the need for the PLC control, which used modbus. What I am considering is a system with about 6 sites with the Arduino used as a port to monitor and control inputs and outputs, communicating via XBee. From what I have seen on the net there is plenty of examples of people using S1 and S2 XBee's talking to Arduinos.
Can the same be done with S3B's?

Can you post links to XBee Pro s3B please.

Thanks for the quick reply and advice.
I haven't written any code yet, was more looking for advice on weather or not the s3b would work with the Arduino. Have since found that plenty of people have used these together.
Have been doing more research today and not sure if I should go for mesh or Digi Mesh?
