Xbee series 1 and Lora Network with MKR1300

Hi Guys,
Very dumb question, but has anybody managed to flash a Xbee series firmware to comply to Lora standard?

I'm new to Lora networking and wanted to use an Xbee to interface my future MKR1300WAN over an Arduino Ethernet shield so I can bridge over the to my IP network.

Possible?
