Xbee shield and protoshield

Hi, I have just received my xbee shield and ive run into a problem, the icsp headers that attach to the arduino are below the xbee, I have a protoshield that puts the icsp headers in a different location, can i take the icsp headers out from the xbee and it will still function or can i take the icsp headers out from the xbee shield and just run a few wires to the headers on the arduino itself?

Hi, I have just received my xbee shield

There are a number of XBee shields on the market. If you have a question about the one you have, you should not assume that we can see the one you have.

its this one http://proto-pic.co.uk/arduino-xbee-shield-empty/

The schematic for that shield is:

The ICSP connector is used to pass +5V, gnd, and the reset pin to the XBee shield. If you are not attaching anything to the +5V or Gnd points next to the ICSP header on the shield, and you can live with the reset button not being connected, you don't need to make sure the ICSP header is actually connected to anything.
