I just bought an Xbee shield and it has series 2 Xbee. It won't talk to my series one Xbee. I also can not change the channel on the series 2, it is stuck on channel 0. The series 1 will not go on channel 0. What am I doing wrong? Also, if I put a series 1 Xbee on the shield, the led blinks instead…

I have everything setup so they will talk except for the channel. V2 won't go off channel 0.
