XBee shield suggestion

To upload a sketch, we have to change the positions of small jumpers on XBEE/USB selection pin headers,
and to activate RF communication, we have to change it again.
Removing it and putting it over and over again, I was about to go insane.
But this switch:

(linkman SS-12D00G3 slide switch) helped me.

I removed the pin headers and soldered the switches like this:

Now I can select the XBEE/USB connections at once, I will never get angry with the jumpers
I hope the slide switches will be implemented on official XBee shields.

I like that idea. See S2 on my ZB1 board

Wow! Great product!
Is the switch on S2 a DPDT type? I couldn't find a circuit diagram of ZB1 on your web site.

Thanks for the kind words. The switch is DPDT.

The schematic, board layout and application hints are in the datasheet. There is a link on the main ZB1 page.

The board will be going on sale for $35 within the next few days. I am running a special that will coincide with the Maker Faire RI.

Thank you. I found Figure 1(and 4) on the datasheet.
Maybe I should have bought a DPDT rather than two SPDTs.

Would a single DPDT match that hole pattern?

IIRC on the switch I use the spacing between rows
is apx 150mils.

Would a single DPDT match that hole pattern?

It may be difficult to find a switch matches the pattern. I'll try to find it.
