Curious if any has any information on how to interface a Xbee with my Arduino Mega. I'd like to stay away from a Xbee shield if possible. Please let me know if its feasible. Thanks.
You can just buy an xbee regulated board or you can make your own with some level conversion stuff.

I was reading about that level conversion stuff, but i have the xbee 2.5 that has 3.3v. Means I dont have to do anything fancy right?

You need level conversion to make it arduino 5v compatible.
