XBee XB24C API mode

Hey guys, girls, Apache Helicopters and whatever other genders are out there...

Soooo I have two XB24C modules each on one Arduino Wireless & SD shield on an Arduino Mega 2560.
I finally figured out how to configurate them (took me only 4 hours) and now I tried to find a library for XBee (oh surprise, it's the XBee-Library).

In the discription of the Library on GitHub I read that this only works in API mode (not the AT mode which aparently is what my XB24C are using... you XBee guys won't make it too easy right?)

Aparently I need a special software for it because I use the Series2 stuff and I am despairing because I can't find either a library for the XB24C that works on AT mode or the stuff for the API mode.

PLEASE help me before i shoot myself and afterwards the two XBee modules :cry:

Later edit: GitHub says the API stuff is called ZNet but i can't find anything about that either

just enable the AP-Parameter (yes it's really easy as that)
