I am using the ft232 board as in drawing. When I try to flash the module, X-ctu tries to send AT commands but is not able to. Even when I try the restore button it says baud rate mismatch. your computer and modem are at different baud rate. I manually tried to enter command mode using different baud rates but was not successful.
Seems like the earlier present firmware has been washed off and the new one not downloaded. No hope to put that module back to use
