XLR Cable Tester with Arduino

Hello i need help :-/
I have to test a XLR Cabel with arduino and it should include the following functions:
1. It is to be checked whether the individual pins of the cable ends are connected to each other . In the case of cross-pollination , this should be displayed.
2. The pin on which rests the shield should be identified.
3. It is to be checked whether there is continuity between the respective ends.
4.In the case of a cable break (one or more wires) to the breaking point to be localized.
I HOPE THAT SOMEONE CAN HELP ME .

4.In the case of a cable break (one or more wires) to the breaking point to be localized.

You need a time-domain reflectometer (TDR) to locate the breaking point which need the cable to be above 500 meters.
