Christmas presents! The eldest daughter needs a new laptop, and maybe a new desktop too. New backup drives, to be (theoretically) copied to and sequestered off-site.
But there aren't any great needs, nor compelling non-needs, so I'm a something of a loss.
I paid property taxes on the houses today (ouch!)
Still waiting for the expected (large) tax refund (taxes submitted in october, near the last possible date...)
Thinking of lending money to the TechShop SJ effort; an interesting prospect...
