Hi, I got a brand new Arduino Yun, at first I was able to config the wifi and also increase the disk memory using an SD card.
Now I'd like to update the OpenWRT but I get the attached error messages screens when trying to connect to the Yun.
It doesn't matter if the SD card is or not installed.
I have also applied a long reset: (WLAN RST) for at least 30 seconds and it didn't help.
What should I do?
I'd appreciate any help
There are a few ways to upgrade the YUN.
It took me a few tries and there are a couple threads about the process around too so maybe better to familiarise yourself first with those hints that got people going.
@Ballscrewbob2, many thanks for your reply but as a matter of fact this is exactly the same page I'm using .
BTW the page is outdated the Webpanel now looks very different (more sophisticated) than the one shown in the page.
This is not the first time I'm facing problems with the Yun, to be honest with you I think this is not a reliable product, as other boards are.
I'm also frustrated with the fact that Arduino's creators don't seem to care about it.
As you said there are many problems reported with the board and it seem no action has been taken to fix those.
Very disappointing...
Once I got mine upgraded it was fine and has been ever since.
If you really want an unreliable board get the 101 its a PITA.
There were a couple more threads in here about the upgrade process and yes its not as easy as it maybe should be.
But from my experience it was worth the perseverance and a lot of reading.
