Yun rev 2 Power Supply?

Hello!

I have been having problems finding a method to safely power my Ardunio Yun 2.

I have currently gone with the following adapter https://thepihut.com/products/power-supply-uk-plug-5v-2a

Would this break the Ardunio Yun Rev 2. as it requires 5V? I called up the shop that sold the Yun and they said they did not feel it would break it due to the loss of energy going down the wire etc.

Any tips?
Oliver

General engineering practice is that if a tolerance isn't given on a supply voltage specification, it is typically assumed to be +/- 10%. For a 5 volt supply, that would be 4.5 to 5.5 volts.

You have to make your own decision, but I personally wouldn't be afraid of a 5.1 volt supply, as low no as it is well regulated and really 5.1 volts (and not actually 10% higher at 5.61 volts.)
