I’m experiencing an issue where my YX6300 keeps burning out when it shares power with both an amplifier and a development board (ESP32). Here’s a bit of context:
The ESP32 is powered by 5V from the development board, which also powers the YX6300.
The amplifier is powered by a 12V adapter and is connected to the audio output of the YX6300.
The problem arises when both the amplifier and the development board share the same power supply. As soon as they share a common ground, the YX6300 burns.
It seems like everything works fine when the amplifier and YX6300 are powered separately, but the YX6300 seems to fail whenever the ground is shared between the devices. I’m suspecting it could be related to grounding issues or voltage spikes caused by the high current draw from the amplifier, but I’m not entirely sure.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Any suggestions on how to properly manage the power and ground setup to avoid damaging the YX6300?

Do you have schematics of the two devices?
Two series capacitors in L and R may work.
Plus directed to amplifier... or use ceramic cap without polarity...
Just to note when i share the same 12 V adapter for the amplifier and the Esp32 dev board the YX6300 burns. When they had different 12V adapter the YX6300 didn't burn
Might very well be a converter (buck-boost or cuk) that has plus going to minus... @fryan22 : measure voltage from minus to minus on the converter. Should be 0V...
Uou can also follow the minus trace...
It should go from minus to minus without interruption. If not: then this converter cannot be used here...
I am using this Esp32 expansion board Wich am not sure on how it reduces the volage buck converter (switching regulator) or a linear voltage regulator. Am powering the YX6300 with section 7 pins which intake from the esp32 directly.
