Hi, I have a custom arduino board that has a YX6300 board fully incorporated into it with the micro sd card slot and 3.5mm output, I am using a ATMEGA328PB-AU chip and 5v supply.
The boards I use are manufactured by PCB-Way, but they are saying the supply of YX6300-24qs is fully dried up unless I supply them from aliexpress.
I want to re-design my board, is there an alternative to the YX6300 I can use? I'm not so keen on the DF player mini as the sound quality isn't great.

Hi, @phild2gb. Do you know about VS1053B codec? I have not personally used it and cannot comment on the sound quality.
Hi, not much, if any, I can get the complete board, but I just need the audio chip on rolls of 100-200 so I can use on my boards. LSCS used to supply them, but struggling now to get them.
