Zephyr or Mbed for Opta ?

Hello,
we are planning on using Arduino Opta RS485 on a project.
I have used it in the past, using Mbed framework, and finally made it work ,despite many problems and crashes.

I have read that after Mbed deprecation, Arduino will move to Zephyr.

As of April 2025, is it safe/stable to use Zephyr for development in Opta, or should we use Mbed for the time being ?

Hi, there's some work ongoing in Zephyr for the GIGA and Portenta, but very much Alpha, and no sign of OPTA yet. ArduinoCore-zephyr/variants at arduino · arduino/ArduinoCore-zephyr · GitHub
