ZeptoProg II: avrdude: usbdev_open(): did not find any USB device "usb"

I am trying to burn a bootloader to an Uno board using a ZeptoProg II but doesn't seem to work correctly. I am using a custom made avrdude supporting this AVR programmer. When I program any other code seems to work correctly. Any plans to support officially the ZeptoProg II?
