Hi,
I recently bought an Arduino GSM Shield 2 (1) and an Arduino Zero Pro (2).
And yes, I know … they work on different voltages (Shield operates on 5V while the Zero works with 3.3V).
My question is as follows:
If I place my own proto shield (3) in between the controller and the shield which takes care of the 5V/1A power supply as well as the necessary I/O level shifters (4) for pin 2,3 and 7 (5) … I believe I should be set if I didn’t miss anything from the schematic(6).
I don’t believe there should be other reasons why these two are incompatible since pin 7 is only a status pin and pin2,3 are used by the SoftwareSerial library.
Your thoughts before I try this and fry one ... or both
Kind regards,
Wim.
