ZIP File does not have the executable

MSI installer is run but the zip file has not executable in the ZIP file.

How do I run the application?

Hi @bvernham. It's not clear to me what you mean. Please provide a detailed explanation of what you did.

There is a "Windows MSI installer" download link. If you run the downloaded .msi file from that link, it installs the Arduino IDE 2.x. There is no .zip file involved with this installation technique.

There is also a "Windows ZIP file" download link. If you unzip the downloaded .zip file from that link, the unzipped folder will contain a file named "Arduino IDE.exe". Just run that file to start the Arduino IDE.

You can chose either installation option according to your preference. There is no need to download both the MSI and .ZIP versions.
