can anyone tell me the pin configuration of a 12 pinned 4 digit 7 segment display?(according to the pic below?)
It's a typical four-digit, seven-segment multiplexed display; the pin configuration is quite clear from the schematic. What don't you understand?

Ah, you mean on the physical device. The usual convention would be the same as on a DIP or SOIC package. Looking at the device from the top, pin 1 would be the lower left pin, from there they are numbered counterclockwise. But allow for missing pins, this is not unusual with these displays. From the schematic, it seems to be a 16-pin pattern.
