Hello,
I am planning to read 6 encoders value using Teensy 4.0 . For best performance i am going to use interrupt pins and all pins are interrupt on teensy.
The encoder is 600 ppr and 2400 pulses on quadrature . The encoder is at 1500 rpm- so the pulses per second are 60000 and all 6 Encoders will give 360k . So can the teensy handle this without missing any pulse.
Teensy has no work other than keeping the count of pulses and when ever requested by master, it has to send it's count.
Code-
Yes @anon56112670 will it work? I am trying to search but there is not data available for interuppt handling speed . Only the cortex M7 600mhz is available

Yes there is no bouncing. Lets assume they are all running at full speed as said and also they will keep changing direction very randomly.
While this whole time i tried using 1 optical encoder and gave that encoder output(2 pins A,B) to 6 set of encoder inputs(6 A,6B) . All show the same value . No pulse was missing. Even at full speed.
This was just a trail of what will actually happen in the robotic arm .But it passed.
Thanks for the help.
