Analog input voltage above aref but below 5v?

Just for random knowledge - Let's say that I'm using the internal 1v1 reference on my Uno. If I apply 3v3 to an analog input, would that damage the arduino? Or would anything between 1v1 and 5v just read as 1024?

Yes, safe to have upto VCC on the analogue input with 1.1volt Aref enabled.
You will have an A/D value of 1023 above the actual Aref voltage.
Leo..

Awesome, that's what I figured (and hoped,) but just wanted to be sure.

Thanks much!
