I want to make Android mobile application to control esp8266 through cloud. Is there any links and sources where I could learn about these stuffs?
Hi @hocrux17. I think the easiest way to do that would be to skip making the app altogether and instead create an Arduino IoT Cloud dashboard through which to control the ESP8266.
If you do want to make an app yourself, you will be interested in this documentation of the Arduino IoT Cloud REST API:
Yes I tried using the Arduino IoT cloud. Like what you said, I want to make my own apps. So do you mean I could make my own apps and connect it to Arduino IoT cloud?
Yes. You can interface with Arduino IoT Cloud from the app you write using the REST API.
I assume that is what you intended to do since you posted this in the forum category that is dedicated exclusively to discussion of Arduino IoT Cloud-related subjects.
This Android application controlling ESP8266 through cloud is a game-changer for IoT enthusiasts and mobile app developers in usa alike! The seamless integration of cloud technology with ESP8266 opens up a world of possibilities for smart home automation, remote monitoring, and more. The potential for innovation here is immense! Kudos to the developers for pushing the boundaries of IoT and mobile app development.
