You can run standard Arduino IDE sketches on your pc and upload them using USB or network.
Or if you are using App Lab , then yes stored on the Q
, you can also connect to the Q using command prompt and other utilities like SCP to copy files back and forth. For this I use WinSCP, some use Samba,
