Arduino as cabin luggage ? or checkin luggage ?

So i will travel from Europe to South East Asia via the Middle East
Currently i have an arduino R3. I might buy an R4 Wifi before the flight.

Should these two boards be part of the cabin luggage or better as checkin luggage ?

I assume the jumper cables, sensors, Platower Dust sensor should and can be part of the checkin luggage?

Thanks

I suggest that you contact the flight operator.

Up to you to decide, but they may trigger a closer inspection if you carry them on cabin luggage. Depending on local policies you may or may not have to take the board out of any bag/box it's in to have it passed separately through the scanner like all electronics.

In any case, no particular regulations apply to an unpowered Arduino AFAIK, so how you carry it is entirely up to you.

Last time I did this I took it as carry on. I allowed extra time in case there were questions. They just looked at it and sent me through.

Your experience may vary. I noted differences in different airports with respect to the level of inspections.

I always labeled the container as "Fragile Electronic Components" and never had an issue, whether it was checked or carried on. If it's properly packed, the luggage compartment is perfectly fine.
