Its working the drive train is powered running I’ve created a sketch now I have to establish communication with my computer. LoRa Wireless Mote , Gateway

Good morning everybody its time to get back to work I had to ask myself ware I was going with this project an how it might benefit others. The shield number pad does go over Motor Shield Rev3 I wanted to see if it cleared the upper pins and would plug in. I’m trying to fit the ESP8266 ESP-12E UART WIFI Wireless Shield TTL Converter For Adriano R3Mega was hoping to use to connect wifi to my Desktop also I purchased the USB TTL Auto Converter Adapter Module to flash the board downloaded program for flashing did a little research on it hope I made good choice anyone out there with some experience with this shield would be helpful? Here’s the link PL2303 tool

Thought the tracked robot could use wheel skirt fund some threaded offsets and mounted them on the sides to bolt plates so now just have to cut them out we see how I do. Sensors have to be mounted on the front installed brackets on the underside motor with offset left over drone parts. the brackets’ I could pint out :slightly_smiling_face:

This is my thought we have to reinvent the wheel use old technology with new do everything backwards instead of trying to add to the sketch take away. That’s what I did learned from others examples check the sketch run it if it works now you know how to add more functions its easier to understand. I’m just going to let others right the example have experts Wright up the sketch. I need to draw up wiring schematics on paper. Did download install https://www.kicad.org/ but have to many holes to drill right now. Anyhow I think it was a productive day I could take brake for now you all have a good day talk later.

@thomas67,
I have:

  • Merged your hijack replies from someone else's topic into this one
  • Merged one of your other topics on the same subject into this one
  • Deleted one of your duplicate topics on the same subject.

As I see you have already attracted moderator intervention for hijacking other people's topics, and not choosing categories carefully, I have given you a 2 day break from posting.

All your questions and discussions are clearly about the same thing, please do not keep creating new topics and please do not add stuff about your project to other people's topics, unless in doing so you are helping that person.

If you are struggling with how the forum works please ask for help.

Thank you.

Everyone else,
My apologies if the result is a mess, but how else to combine so many posts scattered all over the place.

Finally, the project looks interesting, I will follow this to completion.

I did test out and make a sketch for testing the drive train batteries and Mega 2560 Arduino Motor Shield R3 seem to be functions ok now ready to start add components working with my oun sketch now
Maybe I should ad small video with my project but asking your approval first? So I’m up to three libraries now would like to add a way for sending pwm signal to Arduino remotely thought it might be fun and could add more possibility for this project. Thank you for organizing everything and taking the time you’re a very patience man. Libraries are Arduino avr boards 1.8.6/emoro 2560 by inovatic-ICT/IBusBM
